We pick you up in a spacious Chevrolet convertible classic and as we tour the Great Ocean Road we allow you to indulge all of your senses and the excitement of an adventure of which you are in complete control. Touring with us is something you will talk about and recall with pleasure.

PRICES ARE PER CAR. We have 2 cars available and we can seat up to 4 passengers per car. Our drivers are friendly and knowledgeable of all tours available. Commentary is provided if needed.

Our Great Ocean Road and Otway's Tour start in Melbourne, heads to Geelong followed by Torquay where we visit Quicksilver Headquarters, Surf City, home of Rip Curl, Surf Museum, then we travel the picturesque Great Ocean Road to Lorne, here we stop to have lunch, then proceed back to Melbourne via the back way through the Otway Ranges, cool and invigorating lush green rainforest. This location is said to be where the rain forest meets some of the best surf in the world. We proceed back to Melbourne at your leisure through rolling hills and the third largest volcanic plain in the world. We travel home via Deans Marsh.

Cancellations may occur due to extreme weather conditions, if this happens we will refund or rebook to customers request. We recommend you to bring sunglasses and a sense of adventure! Lunch is paid by customer.

This is a full day tour. We depart Melbourne 7.00am and return at 7:00pm.

There is a maximum of 10 people. Travel in small and exclusive group.

Some surf experience required. Surf lessons are available on request for $30pp. Suitable for all ages.

Jump on board a Big South Adrenalin Charge and lock in for an exhilarating ride that includes: - sea kayaking with seals - mountain biking from bush to beach - surfing world famous breaks - a white-knuckle jet boat ride - skydiving over Bells Beach (additional $330pp) Adrenalin seekers travel in four-wheel drive comfort, with groups limited to 10 people. Surfboards, wetsuits, all safety gear, sunscreen, non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks are included in your tour price.

All equipment is provided. All staff first aid qualified. Fully insured. You must sign a waiver/indemnity form.

Minimum of 2 participants and a maximum of 10 participants.

Please bring good walking shoes, rain coat, warm jumper for cool days and a hat.

Day 1, Melbourne - Great Ocean Road - Ballarat Depart Melbourne city hotel at approximately 8.00am. Travelling over the Westgate Bridge, you will get an uninterrupted view of the Melbourne city skyline and Port Phillip Bay. Across the plains to Geelong, Victoria's second largest city and port. We start the world famous, Great Ocean Road, built by the returned ANZAC servicemen in 1919. Travel through the seaside towns of Anglesea, Lorne and Apollo Bay. This region is also known as the "Surf Coast". A very good chance to see koalas, kangaroos and echidnas in their natural habitat. Enjoy lunch at one of the many gourmet cafes. Travel through the Otway National Park ( a temperate rainforest) with giant Mountain Ash eucalyptus trees and ferns to the Port Campbell National Park. Stopping at all the spectacular viewing areas,12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and London Bridge. Many ships were wrecked only hours before reaching Melbourne, hear stories about the heroes and heroines of the "Shipwreck Coast", during the "Gold Rush" and pioneering days. After many photo opportunities, travel via the lakes and crater district to historic Ballarat for overnight stay at Ballarat Lodge or similar. An option in the evening "Blood on the Southern Cross" the sound and light show, telling the story of the EUREKA rebellion in 1854. Australia's only civil uprising over gold mining licenses. Overnight accommodation - "Ballarat lodge" 4 star boutique hotel where a real commitment to quality, comfort, service and wonderful food, ensures an unforgettable stay. There is a comprehensive selection of local wines available. Twin/double room basis. Accommodation: Ballarat Lodge, Ballarat (or similar). Twin/double room basis Meals: Lunch is included. Entries: National Park entry fees where applicable. Optional: "Blood on Southern Cross" sound and light show. (at your own expense). Day 2, Ballarat - Halls Gap, Grampians National Park. A short city tour of Ballarat's highlights, including Lake Wendouree and the Botanic gardens, “Gold Shop” see gold nuggets found by local prospectors. Local Ballarat gold is 23.5 carat in it's natural state, some of the purest gold in the world. We will step back in time to the 1850's and relive the exciting vibrant “Goldrush Era” at Sovereign Hill. You can try your luck panning for gold in the creek, ride the Cobb & Co coach around the township, see the craftsmen at their trades, Candle maker, Undertaker, Blacksmith, Tinsmith, the steam boilers driving the period gold mining machinery, explore the underground mine, see the miners crushing the quartz in search for that elusive fortune, a $50,000 gold nugget being smelted and poured into ingots. Experience the exciting discovery of the “Welcome” nugget, one of the largest gold nugget discoveries in the world, (150 pounds or 2217 troy ounces) in one gold nugget, at the Red Hill diggings. Enjoy lunch in Ballarat. A scenic drive heading west for the Grampians National Park, (Gariwerd) through sheep and cattle farming countryside, via Ararat, we meander along the Mount William range to Halls Gap, our overnight destination. We suggest dinner at the Kookaburra Restaurant, where local produce and specialties are served. A comprehensive selection of local wines is again available. Accommodation: Colonial Motor Inn, Halls Gap (or similar). Twin/double room basis. Meals included: Breakfast and lunch. Entries: Sovereign Hill Historic Park entry fees, National Park entry fees where applicable. Day 3, Grampians - Mt Gambier - Adelaide Depart at 8.30am to explore the Grampians Mountains. National Park, (Gariwerd) to Baroka and Reeds, scenic lookouts, Aboriginal Cultural Centre, Aboriginal art sites, wildflowers (over 850 species in spring) and even see a kangaroo, wallaby and emus in the wild. Travel through rolling hills, and farm land to Mt.Gambier, with the marvelous "Blue Lake", an extinct Volcano. An option is to visit the Coonawarra wine region. Your domestic flight, to Adelaide, departs at 5:00pm. You will arrive in Adelaide at 6:00pm. Transfer from the Adelaide Airport to your City accommodation by Smart Car Transfer or connecting flight to Kangaroo Island. Meals included: Breakfast and lunch. Entries: National Park entry fees where applicable. Transport: Smart Car Transfer, Flight from Mt.Gambier to Adelaide.

Enjoy great views of our lovely Melbourne city and Port Phillip Bay from Westgate Bridge Pass through Corio Bay and Victoria's second largest city. We stop for morning tea at Torquay (own expense). We then travel through the popular coastal ownships of Lorne and Apollo Bay. We pause for a photo opportunity at famous Bells Beach. Look for cuddly koalas at Kennett River. Enjoy spectacular coastal views along the Great Ocean Road. Take a walk along the boardwalk through the magnificent rainforest at Maits Rest. Drive through the beautiful Otway National Park. Relax with a complimentary light lunch with tea and coffee at Lavers Hill and watch the colourful rosellas feed in the gardens. Stop along the well known Shipwreck Coast for superb photo opportunities. View the famous Twelve Apostles, Port Campbell National Park, remains of London Bridge, the Razorback and Island Arch. Visit Loch Ard Gorge - site of the tragic shipwreck Loch Ard. Pass through the lovely township of Port Campbell Finally, we return you to Melbourne - It's a long day but we make no apologies because it's worth it.
