Whitehaven Beach Picnic Adventure

1 Day Tours
Whitehaven Beach Picnic Adventure
Whitehaven Beach Picnic Adventure

Whitehaven is one of the worlds most famous beaches. Sail from Shute Harbour to this spectacular 5km pure white silica sand beach. Enjoy a picnic lunch served under the shade of the trees while you bake on the beach. Then why not go for a swim in the crystal clear waters of the Whitsundays.

This adventure departs from Shute Harbour. We are able to provide a courtesy pick-up service from most Airlie Beach Mainland accommodation.

Airlie Beach The Whitsundays Queensland

Departs at 8:45am and returns at approximately 4:30pm

Please bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, towel, swimwear, soft shoes and jumpers for cooler days.

Sixteen nautical miles from the mainland is a place which has become one of the world's most famous beaches. The water at Whitehaven is usually nothing less than crystal clear, so it's a great spot to enjoy a swim in the warm tropical waters of The Whitsundays. Beach cricket, volleyball, frisbee and other activities are available for those that feel the need to expend some energy whilst on the beach. Your picnic is an informal affair and yet the menu is exotic. We have a selection of fresh tortilla rolls with satay chicken or vegetarian salad, rare roast beef and salad rolls and a fresh Queensland tropical fruit platter. A gourmet afternoon platter is served on our return sail to the mainland. The return sail past some very interesting and dramatic scenery tops off a day trip that is a must for every visitor to the Whitsundays!
