Gather a group of mates or colleagues and enjoy riding the awesome tracks in a lush sub-tropical, world-protected rainforest on quality mountain bikes! Single tracks, downhill sections and pioneer logging trails. Amazing!

Alstonville Far Nth Coast / Byron New South Wales

Tours run daily, weather permitting subject to availability. The full day adventure runs from 9am-5pm.

We only run small groups for your enjoyment and pleasure! Maximum 8 persons and 2 guides/mechanics.

The ride is suitable for an active person with average fitness. You must be able to ride a bicycle. Children under 16yrs must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Bring suitable clothes for cycling in the forests, runners and eyewear, no sandals. Change of clothes, towel and swimmers/shorts. Gloves and helmets provided. Weather conditions may be changeable.

You will be collected with a 4wd vehicle then driven along some of the most picturesque coastal viewing points north of the state, overlooking Cape Byron (Byron Bay) and it's famous 1903 lighthouse, we then head towards the Sub tropical protected Hinterland rainforests. All your food and equipment is transported for you! Our guides will explain about the regions interesting local history and wonderful geography. Entering the World Heritage listed National Park in the 4wd vehicle we travel slowly to see all the wonderful tree species and changing landscapes. Arriving at the spectacular 100m Waterfalls, en-route, we stop and have a stroll out to the purpose built viewing platform where you can marvel at the sheer drop and spectacular panorama. Here our team will explain how your adventures will begin! An overview on the day's tour! Continuing up to the highest points in the forest, we unload all our high quality Cannondale cycling equipment and we begin to explain how the bikes operate, gears riding positions, helmets, gloves, helpful tips and stretching. Your guides will lead the way, as you explore the wonderful forest environments. Mostly downhill trails so an average or active fitness is all that's required. Stopping at natural beauty spots, snacks and fruits are provided throughout. And remember help is always close to hand should any problem occur. Riding in this beautiful area is just magic...where upon reaching the end of 25-30 km trails your team will collect you and load up your mountain bikes. Then, you'll be treated to a glass of chilled champagne as we serve a picnic lunch, juices, and sweets, chat and laugh about the thrills of the day!

All participants must sign a risk form and medical form. We operate in high environmentally significant areas and our guidelines are to be followed. A donation to Rainforest Rescue is included in the price for every rider.
