An intimate group limited to six and accompanied by 2 guides

Tour includes: a 45 minute scenic flight from Hobart to Bathurst Harbour return, all safety equipment (including radios and satellite phone), qualified guides, delicious camp food and all camping equipment except sleeping bags.

This trip starts bright and early with a one hour scenic flight into Melaleuca, the heart of the South West. Upon arrival we will pack our kayaks and get ready to set out for Bathurst Harbour. After an hour of paddling we will be at our base: Forrest Lagoon Standing Camp. After lunch it is time to start exploring. We will spend the next 2 days exploring: the Celery Top Islands, Mt. Beatie, the Bathurst Narrows, the foothills of Mt. Rugby and neighbouring inlets. This is the perfect wilderness getaway.

All trip leaders are are experienced paddlers with formal sea kayaking and wilderness first aid qualifications
