This tour has short 5 minutes walks and is suitable for all ages

Depart your Blue Mountains accommodation or Katoomba with your experienced local driver/guide in a modern air-conditioned 4WD. This adventure includes Four Wheel Driving and short bush walks. You will be driven through the upper Blue Mountains before descending into Hartley Valley. On the way you may even spot Australian wild life, before stopping at Hassan''s Walls with its spectacular nearly 360 degree views of the valley below. You then continue your journey onto Newnes Plateau. After morning tea in the wilderness you will travel to view the ancient and fragile rock pagodas of the Lost City. Take a short walk through the fabulous rock formations before travelling back to your accommodation or car.

Included on this tour are morning or afternoon teas, park entrance fees. Tours are in small-personalised groups maximum 6 people. All guides are fully qualified.

A minimum of two participants is required to operate this tour. There is a maximum of 6 participants

The tour is available for people with a medium fitness level who can walk easily on uneven ground. The walk is approximatley 2 kms return. As lunch is supplied we must be notified of any dietary requirements.

You will be picked up from your Blue Mountains accommodation (or arranged meeting point), by your experienced local driver/guide. You then travel by air-conditioned 4WD to the Newnes Plateau. After morning tea in the wilderness, you enter Wollemi National Park, before driving through an old abandoned railway tunnel. Leaving the vehicle behind you, you will take a walk to the second tunnel through a cool ferny gully with majestic rock overhangs, to view the glow worms on the tunnel roof and walls. After you return to your vehicle and enjoy your picnic lunch in the wild, you then travel to the Lost City with it's ancient rock formations called pagodas. You then continue to Hassan's Walls, which is the highest lookout in the Mountains before making your way back to Katoomba and your accommodation.

Your host will call you to arrange a pick-up point in the the upper blue mountains. Included is morning tea and lunch, park entrance fees and small personalised groups.

This experience has a short walks and is suitable for all ages.

You will be picked up from your accommodation for your personalised tour of the Blue Mountains by one of our experienced guides. Then you will leave the city behind, in one of our luxury air conditioned 4WD vehicles and drive to the World Heritage Blue Mountains, with it's clean mountain air and fabulous scenery. Morning tea will be overlooking vast picturesque scenery before descending 415 meters into the Jamison Valley by the world's steepest incline railway. Here your guide will take you on a bush walk through the rainforest, smell the bush, hear the birds and awaken your senses before returning to the top of the escarpment by cable car. You will have a relaxing lunch in an old world pub, before heading off the beaten track into the more remote areas of the Blue Mountains. Here you will see ancient rock formations and vistas that will take your breath away. Travelling back to your accommodation you will have afternoon tea with wild kangaroos and cockatoos, to finish this fantastic day in the Australian wilderness.

This special tour starts with a one on one koala experience whilst you enjoy your light breakfast at Featherdale interactive wildlife park. Enjoy croissants and damper rolls, tea / coffee or orange juice while meeting the parks favourite koala face to face as well as other native animals. After your light breakfast see more Australian native animals and birds, hand feed kangaroos and have your photo taken with a cuddly koala. Catering for small groups, you are assured of personalised attention by your friendly and informative driver/guide. Sample real Billy Tea in the company of kangaroos in the wild. Off-road driving in vast wild natural eucalypt forest regions. Go into the Jamison Valley, visit Australia's own Grand Canyon, the Grose River Valley. A beautiful buffet lunch awaits at the historic Imperial Hotel. Hot and cold dishes to suit most tastes and cultures. Visit the Three Sisters rock formation at Echo Point, opportunity to ride on the world's steepest Scenic Railway and flyway Cable car (own expense). Boomerang demonstration (weather permitting). View steep sandstone gorges carved by ancient rivers and streams from Anvil Rock overlooking the Grose Valley away from the tourists crowded lookouts. This is a photographers paradise. See spectacular Govetts Leap. We visit Euroka Clearing at Glenbrook where the wild kangaroos will be waiting for your arrival. Bird watchers and nature lovers alike will be delighted by flocks of colourful parrots and other wildlife. To complete your day we have chartered a Matilda River Cruise that will take you into Darling Harbour or Circular Quay where your tour concludes.

This tour takes place in the Blue Mountains and will pick up from Sydney CBD

Hotel pickups start at 7.30am. Rivercat returns to Circular Quay between 5.00pm and 6.00pm

Minimum 2 people - maximum 16 people per vehicle.

This day suits most people. Disabled people should specify requirements so we can then allocate them to appropriate vehicle (limits do apply). We can provide child booster seats and infant capsules on request.

We collect at all city hotels - other pickups on request.

We start with a hotel pickup. Departing the city, we arrive at our breakfast location, Featherdale Wildlife Park where here we enjoy a special environment free of other tourists. Breakfast consists of fresh croissants, bread rolls, cheese, spreads, fresh fruits, juice tea/coffee, and some welcoming native visitors. After breakfast we enjoy meeting Australian animals including kangaroos, emus, wombats, dingos and more. We then depart Featherdale Park as it opens to regular visitors and travel to the Blue Mountains - we ascend Bells Line of Road and pause at Bilpin, citrus region of Sydney and this is a chance to purchase fresh fruit from the shop. Leaving here we continue past Tomah Botanic Gardens and further up the mountains for a stop at Mt Banks. Here we have a short nature walk where the native flora is described in an informative and interesting manner and we see wonderful Blue Mountains valley and wall views. From this point we cross the mountains to Mt Victoria and continue to Govetts Leap for magnificent Valley and waterfall views. Lunch is then enjoyed at the historic country Pub - the Imperial Hotel. After lunch we drive to see the views of Megalong Valley and then along the scenic Cliff Drive where we stop for views of the 3 Sisters at a little used location (away from the crowds) and here our guide relates an Aboriginal Dreamtime story about the 3 Sisters. Travelling down the mountains we head into the national park to Euroka Clearing where guests will have one of the most memorable highlights of their day - kangaroos in their natural environment while enjoying a complimentary glass of champagne or fruit juice. We then depart the Mountains and drive to the Olympic Site for a short tour then down to the Homebush Bay Wharf to meet River Cat for the ferry trip down the river into Sydney Harbour (no traffic congestion on the river) - tour concludes at Circular Quay at approximately 5.30- 6.00pm.

This tour is highly appealing to the traveller wishing to experience a quality, personal day out of Sydney - away from mainstream tour operators and crowds, that is affordable and uniquely Australian.
