This new and unique 'Australian adventure activity' has been developed on the beaches of Coffs Harbour. Surf rafting has you surfing the waves in 12' self-bailing whitewater rafts with plenty of 'thrills and spills'. The latest design in rafts make it relatively easy to paddle out through the surf and then onto the cresting waves for a ride of a lifetime back to the beach - most times (you do get a little swimming practice at times!) You and your guide will paddle our special rafts out through the surf onto the wave and surf back into the beach. We are the first in the world to develop this activity into a commercial tour. Each participant wears a lifejacket & helmet. Your instructor is a highly trained professional whose responsibility it is to provide you with a safe and memorable experience. Morning Surf Lessons	Have you ever stood on the beach in awe of the surfers riding the waves onto the beach? Here's your chance to join the other surfers and immerse yourself in the waters of the Solitary Islands Marine Park with a surf lesson on the Coffs Coast. This activity takes place in Solitary Islands Marine Park, Coffs Harbour. Coffs Harbour Coffs / Mid North New South Wales Meet us at our office at 8.30am. Lessons are from 9.00am till 12.00pm. For every 8 surfers-to-be there'll be 1 professional and enthusiastic guide. Normal fitness is required to paddle the boards through the surf and it's recommended you are a confident swimmer. Health and fitness concerns should be discussed at time of booking. Remember to bring swimwear, towel and sunscreen. All other equipment is supplied. Now is the time to get surfing! Join us for one of our morning lessons and learn the basics of surfing, surf awareness and beach safety. We'll teach you all there is to know. Whitewater Rafting Full Day	Come and raft the Nymboida River - one of the world's classic rivers. Dramatic granite gorges, rainforest-lined banks and professional guides ensure this is the perfect setting for whitewater enthusiasts and to fully appreciate the river's stunning beauty! This activity takes place on the Nymboida River, Coffs Harbour. Coffs Harbour Coffs / Mid North New South Wales Pick-up is between 7.00am to 7.30am & return approx. 5.30pm. We operate with a minimum of 5 passengers and a maximum of 50 passengers. Minimum age is 14 years. You need to bring swimwear, towel,sunscreen & footware such as trainers to wear into the river (they will get wet). All other equipment is supplied. Tour includes morning tea, snacks at lunch on the river & a meal at the completion of tour. Join us and raft the Nymboida River - one of the world's classic rivers. The dramatic granite gorges and rainforest-lined banks of the rugged Nymboida River produce rapids renowned among whitewater enthusiasts. Rafting is certainly the best way to fully appreciate the river's stunning beauty! Sit back and relax while we begin the adventure with a 2 hour scenic drive into the river, following the old Bullock Team track that was used by the early loggers.The drive climbs 700 meters through the forests of the Eastern Dorrigo. Then the fun really begins as we get you in your rafting gear and hit the river. You will raft for 4 hours, covering 9 kilometres of the upper Nymboida river over rapids up to grade 4-5, such as Lucifers Leap, Devils 1 & 2, Decapitator 7 Elkhorn Passage. This adventure is moderate to challenging for novice & experienced rafters. There are no toilet facilities available during the rafting trip. Customers are advised to use the toilet at their accommodation prior to their pick-up. (We have an approx 2hr drive to the river). A reasonable level of fitness is required. Bring swimwear, towel, sunscreen & footware such as trainers to wear into the river (they will get wet). All other equipment is supplied. Tour includes morning tea, snacks at lunch on the river & a meal at the completion of tour. Day 1 Pick-up is between 7.00am to 7.30am.
