A luggage restriction of 15kg maximum applies to all tours. No hard suitcases, please pack essential items in small soft sports/duffle bags.
Travel the Gibb experiencing incredible scenery including; Windjana Gorge, Tunnel Creek, Bells, Geikie & Manning gorges, Gavlans Gorge, El Questro, Kununurra, Bungle Bungles, Katherine Gorge, Edith Falls, Darwin
DAY 1:
Today we depart Broome and travel via Derby to the Gibb River Road and onto Windjana Gorge. A walk through the gorge this afternoon is sure to impress with its resident crocodiles. Overnight camp beneath the stars - Windjana National Park. (L.D.)
DAY 2:
This morning we're off to Tunnel Creek, have your bathers & torches ready! This amazing tunnel cuts through the Napier Range. Afternoon sees us off to the awe-inspiringly beautiful Bells Gorge.

DAY 3:
Travelling through the King Leopold Ranges, our first stop at Galvans Gorge will tempt you to don the bathers. This afternoon, a challenging trek to Manning Falls followed by another fantastic swim before we set up camp at Mt Barnett Station.

DAY 4:
Our journey today takes us through the majestic Cockburn Ranges, have your cameras ready for the spectacular scenery and panoramic views of the Cockburn Ranges, Cambridge Gulf and the twin rivers of the Durack and Pentecost. Camping overnight El Questro. (B.L.D)
DAY 5:
Soak in the thermal pools of Zebedee Springs, hike to stunning Emma Gorge for a swim in the droplette waterfall. A great day loaded with activities. We then head to Kununurra arriving in the afternoon. (B.L)
DAY 6:
We depart Kununurra and make our way to the Bungle Bungle turn off. A short stop at Turkey Creek before we tackle the 3 hour 4x4 track into the Bungles where we trek Echidna Chasm and Frog Hole. Overnight camp Purnululu N/park. (B.L.D)
DAY 7:
We head for the Bee Hive domes and hike Piccaninny Creek and Cathedral Gorge. There's time for an optional helicopter flight before we return to Kununurra that night.(B.L)
DAY 8/9
We cross the border to the Northern Territory and travel along the Victoria river (watch out for salties) to our overnight at Katherine. The next morning we travel up the track (Stuart Hwy) into the outback capital Darwin.
Departs Wednesday's (April to October)
It is unlikely that a tour would be cancelled, however we reserve the right to cancel tours with less than 5 passengers if deemed necessary.
Bookings made within 30 days of departure are to be paid in full.
Cancellations are subject to a 10% penalty fee of total tour cost. A penalty fee of 50% of total tour cost will apply to cancellations made within 14 days of travel. No refund if cancelled within 5 days of departure, or in the event you fail to join the tour or leave it early.
Travel insurance is highly recommended on all tours. Alterations to the itinerary may be caused as a result of road conditions, flooding, mechanical defect/and or other reasons. |
