Australia's Best Wine Tours - Bellarine Peninsula

This is Australia's best wine tour. Bypass the minibus and travel in style in a luxury Porsche or BMW 4WD for the ultimate wine region tour! We visit Australia's fastest-growing boutique wine region, the Bellarine Peninsula, home to 25 cellar doors.

We will collect you from a Melbourne CBD hotel or agreed location between 9 and 9.30 am, returning between 5 and 5.30 pm. Trips depart every day except Good Friday and Christmas Day. The tour lasts all day.

Maximum of four for individual attention. A minimum of two bookings are required for the trip to proceed.

The scenic Bellarine Peninsula is exceptional for wine growing and is renowned for the production of high quality wines. Excellent examples of Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay can be found throughout the region. A day touring the area is guaranteed to be enjoyable, interesting and informative. Spoil yourself with these unique benefits: 1. Travel in luxury in a Porsche or BMW 4WD 2. Your host is a leading wine writer, keen to answer any questions you may have about wine. 3. We will visit at least five of the region's best wineries, including a tutored behind the scenes tour of a vineyard and winery. The wineries we visit are all award-winning, run by passionate and dedicated winemakers. You can of course buy wine if you wish and bring it back with you or arrange to have it sent home. The specific wineries will depend on their latest vintage quality, though we like to visit Scotchman's Hill, Shadowfax and Spray Farm due to their consistent brilliance. 4. If you have a specific winery you want to visit we'll try to include that. 5. We have a two-course lunch (included in the price) at Bellarine Estate, among the Peninsula's best restaurants. The location is beautiful with sweeping views across the bay toward Melbourne. You may choose anything from the menu, plus a glass of wine. 6. If time permits, we will have afternoon tea at Pettavel Estate. 7. We also provide a take-home edition of the Essential Wine Course, which is an excellent wine primer book. 8. There are no age or weight restrictions however people under 18 are not permitted to drink alcohol. The maximum number is four on a tour, with a minimum of two required.
