Melbourne

We will collect you from a Melbourne CBD hotel or agreed location
between 9 and 9.30 am, returning between 5 and 5.30 pm. Trips depart
every day except Good Friday and Christmas Day. The tour lasts all day.

Sit back and enjoy yourself in stylish luxury. Your host is one of Australia's foremost wine experts so feel free to ask all those questions about wine you always wanted answered.
With its distinct maritime climate, the Mornington Peninsula produces a vast array of quality wines. Traditional varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir excel, along with Shiraz, Viognier and Pinot Gris. Your day touring the area is focused on wine education, appreciation and enjoyment, not just a brief visit to a few cellar doors.
Spoil yourself with these unique benefits:
1. Travel in luxury in a Porsche or BMW 4WD
2. Your host is a leading wine writer, keen to answer any questions you may have about wine.
3. We will visit at least five of the region's best wineries, including a behind the scenes tour of one of them. The wineries we visit are all award-winning, run by passionate and dedicated winemakers. You can of course buy wine if you wish and bring it back with you or arrange to have it sent home. The specific wineries will depend on their latest vintage quality, though we like to visit Stonier's Red Hill Estate, Main Ridge Estate, and Paringa Estate due to their consistent brilliance.
4. If you have a specific winery you want to visit we'll try to include that too. We have a two-course lunch and a private tutored tasting at T-Gallant, among the Peninsula' best restaurants. T-Gallant's restaurant is where all the local winemakers go for lunch! You may choose anything from the menu, plus a glass of wine.
5. If time permits, we will visit Red Hill Cheese for a cheese tasting, and have afternoon tea at Dromana Estate, and drop into the new Red Hill beer boutique brewery.
6. We also provide you with a take-home edition of the Essential Wine Course, which is an excellent wine primer - book.
7. Maximum of four people for individual attention
There are no age or weight restrictions however people under 18 are not permitted to drink alcohol. The maximum number is four on a tour, with a minimum of two required. |
