The Barron River is North Queensland's most exciting half day tour. Feel the rush of white water rafting within the awesome wilderness of Australia's tropical rainforests. With over a decade of experience, join RnR qualified guides and negotiate the famous Rooster-Tail rapid and paddle through majestic scenery.

The Barron River Gorge is located 45 minutes south of Port Douglas and lies along a traditional pathway used by the original indigenous Djabugay people. The spectacular Barron Falls, further upstream, are considered a sacred site. The famous Kuranda Railway and Skyrail Cableway also traverse sections of the gorge. RnR's heart thumping ride spears through the Barron Gorge National Park and the World Heritage- listed Wet Tropics.
