Byron Bay - Nimbin & Rainforest Day Tour

Join us for a day of fun! See the sites of Byron Bay, Byron Hinterland and Nimbin. After sightseeing and meeting the locals, take the high road to Brisbane through Numinbah Mountain Pass to stop at Springbrook National Park to see Natural Bridge with Caves, Waterfalls and Rainforest. What a Day!

The tour starts and ends in Brisbane City. Drop offs in Byron Bay and Nimbin are available also by arrangement.

Byron Bay Far Nth Coast / Byron New South Wales

We pick up from your accommodation in Brisbane (Inner City) at 8am. We return to Brisbane and drop you to your door again around 6pm.

We keep to small groups only with a maximum of 10 passengers.

Children are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Bring your swimmers for Byron Bay, towel, sunscreen, hat, walking shoes, raincoat, insect repellent.

Please bring a smile and an open mind.

Leaving from Brisbane we head to world famous Byron Bay. We will have two hours here to check out the beach and go to Australia's most Easterly Point at Cape Byron Lighthouse. From this magical viewpoint, whales, dolphins, sharks, rays, turtles and schools of fish may be seen, not to mention the rocky cliffs, rolling pacific ocean waves crashing in and the rugged coast extending for miles. Byron Bay is an alternative town so we make sure there is opportunity to have a good wander through the shops, cafes and galleries in the town centre (yes it is on the beach for those who just want the sun). Next we head through the Byron Hinterland with its rolling green hills, colourful locals and fruit plantations on our way to Nimbin Hippy Village. Nimbin is not your normal town. It was changed forever after the Aquarius Festival of 1972 and we stay for 1.5 hours so you can find out what it is all about. Enjoy chatting with the locals and sampling the great local produce at the cafes and restaurants. The museum and galleries are also well worth the trip to this lush part of the world. Leaving Nimbin takes us up into the high country and through Numinbah Mountain Pass back into Queensland. We stop at Springbrook National Park's Natural Bridge. This amazing natural structure is set in World Heritage Rainforest. Our guides explain rainforest features and take you through the caves and waterfall circuit. A great relaxing way to finish up the day before getting back to Brisbane around 6pm.
