Take a camel ride along the Todd River, and enjoy a 3 course dinner with
drinks, a visit to the Camel Museum and Shop.
This acticity departs from and returns to Alice Springs and travels to the Todd River.

During your tour, you will be travelling in a group with a skilled cameleer. The group varies from 4 to 30 people depending on booking numbers.
Wear casual, comfortable clothing: a light long sleeved shirt for summer evening rides (October to April) and layers of clothing that can be adapted to the changing weather for winter and spring (May to September). For protection bring sunglasses, a hat, insect repellent and sunscreen lotion.
Take a camel for an hour-long ride along the Todd River, with evening light on the magnificent old eucalyptus trees and the changing colours of the MacDonnell Ranges. You'll experience scrumptious food, a fascinating Camel Museum and a Camel Shop with all sorts of camels and more!
For dinner you can try a variety of tasty bush foods with pre-dinner drinks. Choice of N.T. Barramundi (fish), beefsteak cooked to order or a vegetarian dish. Fresh salads, baked potatoes and home-made beer bread. For dessert - warm sticky date pudding with toffee/cardamom sauce. Australian beer, wine or soft drink. Brewed coffee or tea.
The package includes a 1 hour camel ride, 3 course dinner & drinks, Camel Museum, Video, Camel Shop & Transfers.
All riders must sign a waiver form and wear riding helmets. Children aged 5 and over are allowed to take part in the tour. You are advised to take out comprehensive insurance cover before the tour, including loss or damage of baggage, additional expenses, personal accident and personal liability. |
