Tour fees include kayak/buoyancy vest/paddle and qualified guide. Wear light coloured, loose fitting clothing to suit the temperature of the day, a shady hat and sunscreen, older footwear or active sandals (will get wet). Bring a drink, snack and camera.

Family Group rate of $120-00 is for 2 adults + 2 children under age of 12. Where less than four people are booking the Adult rate $45-00 Child rate $25-00

The Port River Dolphin Sanctuary is an ideal location for novices and children to experience the fun and adventure of kayaking. You can explore protected mangrove creeks, see ship wrecks or search for dolphins. Our tour fee of $120 for 2 adults and 2 children means the family can have fun and be active together! Travelling by kayak is a unique way to experience an encounter with the Port River dolphins or view the ship wrecks in the Ship's Graveyard Maritime Heritage Trail. Our double sea kayaks are comfortable, very stable and easy to use so you can explore this sensational area with confidence. Mum or Dad can "skipper" the kayak and the child can either sit in the front cockpit or on the kiddy seat close to their parents. The family tour is tailored to your needs and conducted at the pace you and your kids want to travel. Tours run spring to late autumn and are conducted in double sea kayaks, which are easy to paddle, stable and very comfortable. There is also plenty of space to bring a small bag of snacks and a drink to keep you fueled up throughout your adventure. A camera is also recommended and we can provide a waterproof case to keep it dry. We provide guidance, child sized buoyancy vests and paddles.

The tour is weather dependant. Should the weather be unsuitable on the day you may transfer your booking to a subsequent tour or receive a refund (less booking agent fee).
