Full Day Cruise to Great Barrier Reef

Our full day cruise takes you to the crystal clear waters of the Great Barrier Reef and includes all snorkeling, glass bottom boat tours, a marine biology presentation and a scrumptious buffet lunch

Sunsea cruises depart from a breakwater ferry terminal, sir leslie thies drive, townsville city. all greyhound/maccaferty's buses arrive at this terminal, the airport shuttle meets each flight and brings passenegers to the terminal, there is car parking facilites available around the terminal at a cost of $4 per day. magnetic island pickup is at the nelly bay ferry terminal.

Cruises depart every Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday from our breakwater terminal. All passengers need to check in at 7.45am for a 8.30am departure. We arrive back in townsville at approximately 5.15pm. Please arrive at 7.45am for check-in for an 8.30am departure. Pick-up from Magnetic Island at 9am, it is less than 2 hours travel to the reef where you have 4 hours to snorkel or dive. You will arrive back at magnetic island at 4.45pm and Townsville approx 5.15pm.

Each cruise has a minimum of 35 passengers and a maximum of 140 passenegrs.

There is no restrictions on our tour, all passengers that wish to snorkel will need to fill out a medical questionaire,wheelchair access is limited to lower deck only.

We will have you snorkeling or diving through crystal clear waters of the Great Barrier Reef in less than two hours. Discover the magical colours of the tropical marine fish and coral. Our full day tour includes all snorkeling, glass bottom boat tours and a marine biology presentation, along with a friendly helpful crew. You will also recieve a scrumptious buffet lunch.

We have a fully licensed bar on board. We also have extra activities including; introductory and certified scuba diving, guided eco dives available also guided snorkel tours. (additional fee applies)
