Take a look at Glow Worms in their natural habitat. Travel by 4WD to remote wilderness areas in
the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. See magnificent ancient rock
formations, ferny gullies and deep valleys.

Departs at 9.00am and returns at approximately 5.30pm.
A minimum of two participants is required to operate this tour.
There is a maximum of 6 participants
The tour is available for people with a medium fitness level who can walk easily on uneven ground. The walk is approximatley 2 kms return.
As lunch is supplied we must be notified of any dietary requirements.
You will be picked up from your Blue Mountains accommodation (or arranged meeting point), by your experienced local driver/guide. You then travel by air-conditioned 4WD to the Newnes Plateau. After morning tea in the wilderness, you enter Wollemi National Park, before driving through an old abandoned railway tunnel.
Leaving the vehicle behind you, you will take a walk to the second tunnel through a cool ferny gully with majestic rock overhangs, to view the glow worms on the tunnel roof and walls. After you return to your vehicle and enjoy your picnic lunch in the wild, you then travel to the Lost City with it's ancient rock formations called pagodas. You then continue to Hassan's Walls, which is the highest lookout in the Mountains before making your way back to Katoomba and your accommodation.
Your host will call you to arrange a pick-up point in the the upper blue mountains.
