Helicopter Flight - Just the Alice - 10 minutes

Exciting from lift off to touchdown, take to the sky in one of our bubble-cabined Bell 47 helicopters offering unrestricted 180 degree panoramic views. You'll get an eagle eye view of the Red Centre from the best seats in Australia, with great photo opportunities.

Your flight will depart from Alice Springs Airport, Alice Springs. Courtesy transfers are included.

Flight time is approximately 10 minutes. Please allow up to 15 minutes extra for the safety briefing and getting in and out of the helicopter.

There is a minimum of 2 passengers. The Bell 47 helicopters carry two passengers and the pilot. Single passenger flights can be arranged on payment of 50% of the unoccupied seat cost.

Weight restrictions apply on all flights. (eg combined weights of two passengers not to exceed 185kgs). Children must be able to fit comfortably/securely into a harness-type seatbelt.

Your experience begins with a safety briefing before your flight in our Bell 47 helicopter. This will take approximately five minutes. After seat belts are fastened and you've been fitted with headsets, we take off from our helipad tracking north to picturesque Heavitree Gap separating the East and West MacDonnell Ranges and perhaps catch sight of “The Ghan” as it winds its way into Alice Springs. There are plenty of photo opportunities as we turn and head south over the Todd River with its magnificent white gums, revealing extensive views of Alice township and the surrounding desert ranges. Your pilot will point out the sights over the intercom on which you can transmit to him and each other. On return to the airport, you will be escorted from the helicopter to our reception lounge for a cold drink, tea or coffee.

We operate throughout the year at times to suit your itinerary except for Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Flights are subject to aircraft availability and favourable weather conditions. Wear warm clothes in the winter. Summer-ensure clothing will protect you from the sun(cap/tie-on hat). Sensible footwear is advisable, avoid thongs. ALL INSURANCES INCLUDED.
