Your experience begins with a safety briefing before your flight in our Bell 47 helicopter. This will take approximately five minutes. After seat belts are fastened and you've been fitted with headsets, we take off from Alice Springs airport flying over romantic Honeymoon Gap to Simpson's Gap in the Chewings Range revealing the magnificent MacDonnell Ranges to the east and west. Turning over Simpson's Gap we track east past magestic Mt Gillen and the Heavitree Range to the Overland Telegraph Station built in 1872 to link Darwin to Adelaide via the Overland Telegraph Line.
There are plenty of photo opportunities of Alice Springs as we continue on to Emily Gap in the East MacDonnells before landing. Your pilot will point out the sights over the intercom on which you can transmit to him and each other. On return to the airport, you will be escorted from the helicopter to our reception lounge for a cold drink, tea or coffee.

As flights are weight restricted, bring only your camera and a hat with you in the helicopter (there is room for a handbag or two). Backpacks etc can be left in our offices in a secure area until your return.
