Helicopter Flight - You Fly Experience - Cairns

If you've ever wanted to learn to fly a helicopter, then this the experience you just can't afford to miss! Let your instructor help you to take flight and control of a helicopter for 30 minutes in this trial instructional flight. You're guaranteed to get the flying bug!

We are located in Cairns, Queensland. Accommodation transfers from Cairns CBD, Northern Beaches or Port Douglas can be arranged for an additional cost.

This experience includes a 30 minute trial instructional flight for 1 person. Prior to the flight there is a 30 minute pre-flight brief. Please allow 60 minutes in total for the experience. Flights operate daily (weather permitting) and subject to availability.

This experience is a private tutorial with your instructor.

Weight restrictions apply - you must weigh less than 110kg.

This is a very special helicopter flight! Why you ask? because you will be taking control of the helicopter. Put on your pilot's cap and take advantage of this awesome opportunity. After receiving preliminary instruction in the hanger, this 30-minute training flight gives you the opportunity to take the controls yourself under the supervision of an instructor. This is the opportunity of a lifetime for an aviation enthusiast.

The flight may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make flying dangerous. Please call us if in any doubt. Any cancelled experiences will be rescheduled for a later date. A fuel levy may apply on the day of your flight (additional cost to be paid on the day).
