Helicopter Twilight Scenic Flight & Dinner

The twilight flight is approximately 25 minutes in duration. Complimentary drinks are served before the flight and a routine safety briefing is also conducted prior to take off. The experience is approximately 2 hours in duration, including the 3-course dinner. Flights operate Monday - Saturday, subject to availability and weather conditions.

We operate with a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 3. Single passenger bookings operate on a standby basis only.

For safety reasons, you must not weigh more than 130kg. Please Note: All drinks at the restaurant are at your own expense. This is a one way helicopter scenic flight to the restaurant. Dress code recommended is smart casual.

Relax in our passenger lounge with complimentary sparkling wine or a beer to set the mood before the departure of your privately chartered helicopter where you will be the exclusive travellers aboard. As the sun begins to set, it's headsets on as your helicopter takes off for a spectacular twilight flight. Be bathed in the soft golden glow of the setting sun and fly over the open countryside to track along the Murrumbidgee River in the foothills of the Brindabella's before turning at Mt Stromlo Observatory to head back to the city. As the sun disappears and dusk sets in, your scenic helicopter flight heads over Lake Burley Griffin for the best views of Canberra you're ever likely to see. From above, sit back and let Canberra's night lights show the city's iconic architecture at its very best and all against the backdrop of the evening sky. At the end of your flight, you will descend over the lake to land on the shore next to the entrance of the famous Boathouse Restaurant, where your 3-course dinner will be awaiting you. (Drinks at the restaurant are not included). PLEASE NOTE: This experience only includes a scenic flight to the restaurant. You will need to make your own way home after your meal.
