This is the best thing you can possibly do in Hobart if you love being active in the outdoors. There are 3 amazing activities packed into one awesome day: - a 2hr sea kayak on the Derwent River - a 2 to 2.5hr walk (easy or adventurous) and gourmet lunch on Mt Wellington - a 2hr mountain bike descent from the top of Mt Wellington (1270m ASL) back down into Hobart. The 8:30am Trip starts with the paddle, then walk, then finishes with the ride. The 11am Trip starts with the walk, then ride, and finishes with the paddle. The paddle is in double sea kayaks and leaves from Blackaby's Sea Kayaks at the Hobart Docks (next to Mures Restaurant and opposite the Mawson and Dogs Statue). The Tour is fully guided and all gear and instruction is provided. You will paddle around the Hobart Docks area, past Salamanca Place and around historic Battery Point before passing ship building yards and the Derwent Sailing Squadron (home of the Sydney-Hobart Yacht Race). The turn-around point of the paddle is marked by Australia's first casino, Wrest Point. Enjoy a fresh brewed coffee (morning)or fish'n'chips (afternoon) on arrival back at Blackaby's. The Walk is fully guided too - you choose from EASY (2 hours, 4.5km, mostly flat, visit the best features on the mountain) or ADVENTUROUS (2.5 hours, 4.5km, 550m vertical gain, rough tracks, walk to the top). Includes transport to and from Hobart, scenic drive, fascinating local history, amazing views, knowledgable local guide, gourmet lunch and time at the end for an exploration of the summit area. The Ride takes 2 hours and descends 1270m over 21km. It includes all gear hire, ace guides, transport backup and afternoon tea at the Cascade Visitor Centre's beautiful gardens. The ride is on the spectacular Summit Road and offers an optional off-road section from the lower slopes. Finish at the Tourism Info Centre in Hobart or at Blackaby's Sea Kayaks. A wonderfully varied day of activities, conducted in a relaxed and fun way.

All staff for the three activities are experienced guides who hold all necessary first aid and ancillary licences. Waivers will need to be signed for the Ride. Safety briefing will need to be initialled for the Walk.
