Upon arriving at the tour departure point and meeting your guide, you will be given a briefing on track use, bike use and safety. Once all is ready you will set off on the tour, stopping at various points of interest along the way. There will be plenty of time to take in the views as well as rest.....the pace is very gentle.
Upon arrival at Ten Mile Hollow, you begin a descent into Dubbo Gully, where the vehicles will be waiting for you, as well as a BBQ lunch (weather permitting). After lunch and a rest, there is time to explore the Gully including the historic cemetary, or a swim in the creek, before we jump in the cars and head for home.
The tour is approximately 25km in length. There are hills to ride up and down, but there is never any pressure to ride over a section you are not confident about.....in fact you will be encouraged to walk if you are unsure of a section.... the guide will walk with you if you like.
Cost includes BBQ lunch, bike, helmet, guide, National Park fees, transfers (contact us first)
All guides are first aid trained, we have remote area communications. You will need to bring comfortable rubber soled shoes (joggers are great), sun protection, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, a small bumbag or backpack, a rainjacket (if it looks like rain) and a bottle of water. |
