NASCAR Ride Day - Vic

Experience the ride of a lifetime in a NASCAR. Travel around the Thunderdome at race speed as a passenger in a left hand drive American Chevrolet, VT, GTO Pontiac or Ford Thunderbird. Thunderbird race-prepared NASCAR. This is an awesome experience!

Enter Calder Park Raceway via the Calder Freeway, Keilor at the main entrance. You will be directed from the main entry. Follow the yellow broken line which takes you into pit lane in the Thunderdome at which point you will sign in and commence your experience.

Allow approximately two and a half hours at the track. The arrival time is normally 12:30 pm. This experience is run on scheduled days throughout the year at least once a month and is subject to availability.

This price is for one person, However, there may be up to 35 in the group.

You are required to sign an indemnity prior to your ride or course. Weight and height restrictions apply. Wear comfortable clothing. Provision of racing attire for the duration of your ride is included. For safety reasons Superspeedway race cars CANNOT run in the wet. In the event of inclement weather, your ride and/or course will be rescheduled. Please call (03) 9217 8831 from 7:00 am on the day of your booking for a weather update.

On arrival you will get kitted up in race attire, then your driver will give a briefing about the drive, racing in general, and safety. You will do 4 Laps as a passenger around the Thunderdome and, upon completion, you will be given a certificate with a photograph autographed by your driver, and a racing cap to take away. Also included is a Sausage/hamburger sizzle for yourself and one friend.

You will receive a photo certificate, which can be autographed by your driver, as well as a souvenir cap. If a confirmed booking date is changed within 7 days of date booked, a re-booking fee of $100.00 will apply. DVD''s are available for purchase on the day for $79.00.
