Join our Eco adventure tour for a full day cruise on a luxury sports catamaran to the ocean waters of the continental shelf some 25 nautical miles to sea. Expert guides are on board to identify the different species of birds and cetaceans you encounter, many of which are not seen on or from land.
Departs from Mossman Bay and Rose Bay and takes place in waters off Sydney.

Regular trips depart the second Saturday of each month. Leaving from
Cremorne Point at 6.45am and Rose Bay Ferry Wharf at 7am returning to
Rose Bay at approximately 3pm and Cremorne Point thereafter.
There may be up to 35 people in the boat. A minimum of 15 participants is required for the tour to proceed.
If sea sickness should be a consideration please consult with your pharmacist for the remedies available. Not recommended for children under 12 years.Please wear warm comfortable clothes plus a water/windproof jacket for days when there is a lot of spray. Bring hat, suncream, camera.

Come and see the cetaceans and seabirds in their own territory out on the continental shelf some 25 nautical miles to sea from Sydney. The different species you will encounter will vary with the season but it will include members of many different families.
From August to December is your chance to catch a glimpse of the endangered wandering albatross the largest of all seabirds with a wingspan of up to 3 metres.
In season there is always the chance of seeing humpback whales on their southern migratory path from the coral sea as well as sperm whales, false killer, pilot whales and dolphins, sharks and sunfish.
The humpbacks can be particularly friendly during their September to November southern migration and it is not uncommon to have them swimming within metres of the boat.
Helpful guides are on board to help you identify all of the species encountered. A hydrophone is available to use to tune into the whale songs.
Morning tea and lunch is included
There is plenty of shelter on board from wind, rain and sun. If the sea conditions are unfavourable, the trip will be rescheduled. If you can only participate on a certain day, please check availability prior to booking. Rebookings require 5 working days notice. If you do not attend as booked, then there is no opportunity to reschedule. Sightings of particular animals cannot be guaranteed. |
