Outback & Atherton Tablelands Experience

A relaxing day on the Atherton Tablelands. Visit Lake Barrine, Twin Kauri Pines, Curtain Fig Tree, Windy Hill, Woodleigh Cattle Station. Also enjoy a Lake Barrine Cruise, a visit to Mareeba Heritage Museum. Your tour also includes morning tea and an Aussie BBQ lunch.

Outback & Atherton Tablelands Experience departs Cairns at 7.30am. You will be visiting Woodleigh Cattle Station, Millaa Millaa Falls, Curtain Fig Tree and Mareeba Heritage Museum located on the Atherton Tablelands, Queensland.

Atherton Cairns and Tropical North QLD Queensland

The tour departs Cairns at 7.30am and returns at 5.30pm.

Other people will be enjoying the tour on the day.

Venture south of Cairns past Walsh's Pyramid to the rich agricultural and rainforest region of the Atherton Tablelands. Visit Lake Barrine where your guide will introduce you to the ancient Kauri Pines - twin giants of the rainforest. You will also partake on a relaxing river cruise and enjoy a light morning tea. Travel through picturesque Yungaburra before visiting the famous Curtin Fig Tree. Onwards past Malanda Falls to the spectacular Millaa Millaa Falls and Lookout. View the towering wind turbines at Windy Hill built to harness the breeze and create clean green energy. Experience the real Australian Outback with an exclusive visit to Woodleigh Cattle Station for an outback BBQ Lunch and guided tour of the pioneer homestead. Travel back through historic Herberton and Atherton before visiting the Mareeba Heritage Museum. Return to Cairns via the scenic Kuranda Range.
