This activity commences in Epic Surf runs all year round with Whale Watching tours in June / July. When the swell is up you will simply get no bigger thrill in Sydney than ripping up and over the faces of these huge waves as they smash on the cliff faces beside you. Simply unbelievable. No medically unfit persons. Passengers are required to sign a waiver prior to departure. Minimum age 10 years. Casual clothes required, wear clothes that suit the conditions on the day you are booked. Gear provided; 100% waterproof and windproof splash jackets and pants, rigid-soled neoprene booties and life-jackets. No skirts / dresses, the seats are straddle seats, i.e. you sit with a leg on either side. Tours run all year round with an all-weather operational capability. Rain or very strong coastal winds will result in tours being cancelled for safety. If we lack a contact number we ask you call us on the day of the tour if conditions are concerning you.

Come along and accompany our experienced guides past the 300 foot vertical cliffs of North Head into the Pacific Ocean. Our rigid inflatable boat seats a maximum of 8 passengers and is the same vessel used by many countries' Police and Special Forces. The highlights of each tour are determined by the changing moods of the Pacific Ocean and include North Head, Shelly, Manly and Freshwater Beaches, the boiling waters of the infamous OE Gap, the blow holes at Blue Fish Point, Quarantine Station, numerous WW2 gunnery emplacements and finally where the Duke Kahanamoku demonstrated surfing for the first time in Australia!!! The vessel is fitted out with padded straddle seats and hand grips for your comfort (you'll sit with one leg either side.... no skirts!).

Sydney Manly Ferry Wharf, in front of Manly Ferry Hotel (eastern or North Head of Wharf). Ferries leave from Cirular Quay to Manly every 30 minutes. If taking Ferry or Jetcat, disembark and walk towards your right hand side to the private jetty. Be at our base 15 minutes prior to departure time. Sunblock and sunglasses recommended, especially in the Summer season. Cameras may be taken on board but must be left with your guide. Tours daily, bookings essential. All gear provided.
