On board, our crew will encourage you to relax and enjoy the comfort of Quicksmart with its full bar facilities, fresh water showers, change rooms and spacious deck areas.
Morning and afternoon tea are served as well as a hot and cold tropical buffet lunch and the spacious deck areas are ideal for sharing a cold drink and tales of your adventure.
Your Quicksmart day at a glance
8.15 am
On boarding enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee and a foccacia bread. For your safety, hot drinks are not served once the vessel is underway. Passengers are required to be onboard the vessel 15 minutes before departure.
8.30 am
Depart Marina Mirage for the trip to the Outer Barrier Reef. On the way, detailed certified and introductory dive briefings are given.
10.00 am
Arrive at the first site. Divers gear up, while snorkellers listen to a site briefing by the snorkelling advisor. Get ready to view the beauty of this natural wonder!
11.30 am
After the initial water activities, enjoy a tropical hot and cold lunch [included in the fare] served in the air conditioned cabin. The lunch includes fresh prawns, pasta, meats, salads and fruit. There are bar facilities available where you can purchase drinks.
11.40 am Certified divers go for their 2nd dive.
1.15 pm
Quicksmart moves to second location on Agincourt Reef system. Option for introductory divers to do second dive and certified divers to do their third. Snorkellers are once again briefed as to the best areas to snorkel.
2.15 pm Afternoon tea is served.
3.00 pm
Depart Agincourt Reef for Port Douglas. Reef video viewing on board.
4.30 pm
Arrival at Marina Mirage, Port Douglas
Conditions: Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from diving. For advice contact us. Minimum age for diving is 12 years. We recommend a wait of 12 hours but preferably 24 hours, if doing multiple dives, before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater. Snorkelling can be a strenuous activity. Please use caution and inform our crew of any medical conditions.
On very rare occasions, services can be subject to the effect of weather or unforeseen circumstances. Should a cruise not operate for any reason passengers will be offered an alternative day or a refund authorised |
