Allow 3.5 to 4 hours for your adventure, which includes picks ups, up to a 2-hour bike tour including instruction, refreshments and return trip.
To give you the best adventure, tours are small, limited to just 10 riders and escorted by 2 experienced guides.
Minimum age is 16 years and over. No bike experience or licence required. Suitable for people who enjoy active adventure like horse riding, jet skiing etc.
Your day begins with a courtesy pick up from your accommodation. After a short 10 minute drive past cane and cattle farms you arrive at Dryander House, home of Whitsunday Bush Adventures. After we check you in you'll be given a brief introduction on how to ride a quad bike, including safety instructions.
Then its time to mount up on your own fun machine - 250cc quad bike! To give you the best adventure, tours are small, limited to just 10 riders and escorted by 2 experienced guides.
Your adventure begins...
First we take you to our confidence course. This gives you plenty of time to get used to the bike. Our professional guides are on hand to help you and answer questions.
We take you along tracks through farmland then into the rainforest of the Dryander Range. The tracks you will be riding on are carefully laid out to be challenging, but not frightening. You'll climb steep hills, negotiate tight corners, there's some fast bits, and lots of variety. You take it all at your own speed and within your own capabilities. Whether you are an experienced or first time rider, you can be sure of an exhilarating ride!!!!
Along the way you'll stop and soak up the magic of the rainforest and learn a bit about this unique area. Our guides are full of local knowledge - flora, fauna, geology, pioneering, exploration and other interesting stuff.
Then it's back to our reception area to relax around our picnic table, compare notes while you enjoy the valley views. Digital photographs will be taken during your tour and are available for you to purchase along with T-shirts, hats, soft drinks and food. When you're ready, we'll take you back to your accommodation in the bus.
There is a $5 per person compulsory charge for bike damage insurance which is to be paid directly to us on day of tour. |
