Sandboarding Tour-North Stradbroke Island for 4

A 2 hour sandboarding adventure on beautiful North Stradbroke Island. Fun for all ages! We like to call it "Snowboarding, Queensland style"

This activity lasts for 2 hours. Starts 2.00pm - 4.00pm. Tours leave from our shop. Its only 10 minute drive in our 4WD (via sealed roads and also a restricted-access off road track) to the sandboarding location, so there is usually at least 1.5 hours sandboarding time.

We require a minimum of 4 people for each tour to depart.

Departures are weather dependant - sandboarding doesnt work on wet sand - the board just sticks and doesnt slide, so we dont run the tours during rain, or after heavy rain.

Children under 5 are free, but must be accompanied by an adult. Sandboarding doesn't work on wet sand, so if it rains we may have to postpone the tour, or offer an alternate activity. Refund available if unable to take customer due to weather. We can take up to 20 at one time, group discounts available.

Make your way to North Stradbroke Island, just off the coast from Brisbane. We take you to our favourite sandboarding location in our 4 Wheel Drive - it's a little out of the way, so expect some off-road adventure. We leave the vehicle and climb to the top of the sand dune for a spectacular view of a naturally formed sand bowl, with clear blue ocean as a backdrop. After some instruction and a little wax on your board, hit the slopes. "Style" is entirely up to you - sit, stand or do it lying down. There's a gentle slope for beginners, but it won't be long before you take up the challenge of the steeper slopes!

We specialise in Sea Kayaking, Sandboarding and Snorkelling on beautiful North Stradbroke Island. We can cater for any size group and tailor activities to suit requirements, budget and schedule. Our emphasis is safety, education, team building, combined with lots of fun. Instructors hold appropriate qualifications and conduct activities in line with strict safety standards. All participants are required to sign an indemnity form.
