Scenic Flight Over Wine Country

A breathtaking 30 minute Scenic flight enjoying the stunning views of the Lower Hunter Valley and its picturesque vineyards and coastline from the open cockpit of a classic biplane.

Please allow 1 hour-20 minutes flying time. The rest of time is spent on safety and flight briefing.

One person per flight - groups catered for.

Ages 13 to 85 years. Flights undertaken are at the sole risk of the passenger. Flights are subject to weather, you will be contacted in the case of unsuitable weather. Wear comfortable loose fitting clothes, long pants, rubber soled shoes, light jacket (heavier clothing during winter).

This activity takes place from Rutherford Airport at Maitland. Action Aerobatics hangar is clearly marked at Rutherford Aerodrome, Maitland approx 2 hours north of Sydney. Follow the freeway north from Sydney. Take the freeway to its end. Follow signs to Maitland. Through Maitland stay on New England Highway. The airfield is about 3kms past Maitland. Max weight 110kgs. Able to climb in/out of aircraft. Minimum age 13 years old. Clothing - Long pants, soft shoes, light jacket and jumper.

We take special requests so the flight is tailored to the individual. You are able to talk over headsets during the flight, so make the flight as mild or wild as you want it to be! We supply each passenger with a soft flying helmet incorporating an electric intercom. Feel free to wear your sunglasses.

We encourage family and friends to attend. They will be able to watch your briefing as well as your flight. Make sure they bring their cameras to photograph your experience.
