Scuba Diving in the Great Barrier Reef

A great way to experience the Great Barrier Reef is to Scuba Dive. Whether this is your first dive or you are a certified diver this full day experience lets you an get up close and personal with colourful reef fish, amazing coral formations and a variety of other types of marine life!

Townsville Passengers will need to check at 7.45am for a 8.30am departure. Magnetic Island Passengers need to check-in at 8.30am for a 9.00am departure. We return approximately at 4.45pm to Magnetic Island and 5.15pm to Townsville

This is a full day tour. We depart at 8.30am (Magnetic Island) and 9am (Townsville). Returning at 4.45pm (Magnetic Island) and 5.15pm (Townsville). Certified dives last approximately 45 mins. Once you feel comfortable in water the introductory dives last approximatley 30 minutes.

For Introductory divers there will be a maximum of 4 divers per instructor. Certified divers will be required to dive with a buddy. We can hold a maximum of 150 people per cruise

All equipment is included. Introductory Divers will need to be 12 years or older. You will also be requird to pass the medical questionaire. Certified Divers will need to present their certification to intructors before diving. For your convenience, we have showers on board, please bring a towel any toiletries you require

In less than 2 hours from Magnetic Island, we will have you diving in amongst one of the great natural wonders of the world - the Great Barrier Reef.Our professional dive instructors will introduce you to the world of diving and will take you on your first dive to experience the colourful tropical fish and amazing coral formations. For your first dive, all you will need to do is pass a simple medical questionnaire and be over the age of 12. It''s fun, safe and very, very easy.For certified divers, we also visit John Brewer Reef to see the Reef through the eyes of our resident fish. Get up close and personal to a variety of reef fish, corals and other types of marine life! We will provide morning tea, a scrumptious tropical buffet lunch that includes; prawns.Complimentary tea and coffee is provided all day.Also included during the day is an educational presentation on the Great Barrier Reef by our Marine Biologist and glass bottom boat tours
