Scuba Diving - Search for the Sea Dragon

Fun for all you complete scuba beginners. Experience the thrill of being able to breathe underwater like a fish, hovering weightless, the closest you can get to being in space. Spend an amazing 30-40 minutes underwater in search of the incredible seadragon (maximum depth 6 metres)

The activity will last for about 4 to 4.5 hours with the briefing, equipment fitting, travel to the dive site and dive. The dive time will have a 30-40 minute "bottom time".

You will be in a group of up to 4 with an instructor and a divemaster or in a group of 6 with the instructor and 2 divemasters. Maximum group size of 6 people.

Unfortunatly you CANNOT participate if you suffer from the following: asthma, epilepsy, blackouts, sinus conditions, diabetes mellitus, collapsed lung(pneumothorax) perforated eardrum, pregnancy, high blood pressure, chronic bronchitis, chest surgury, ear problems, tuberculosis, heart disease. PLEASE NOTE YOU CANNOT FLY FOR AT LEAST 12 HOURS AFTER COMPLETING THIS DIVING EXPERIENCE. You have to be over 12 years old and have your parent/guardian''s consent for minors.

We start in the class room with a DVD presentation on using scuba and then a full instructional briefing on the "dive" and the safety aspects of using scuba. This also includes information about seadragons, their habitat and lifecycle. We will then fit you into wetsuits for your dive. We then move to the "dive site" and spend an amazing 30-40 minutes underwater in search of the incredible seadragon. You are encouraged to take photos to record your experience or you can purchase photos taken buy one of our qualified staff (maximum depth 6 metres). A pub lunch is included after the experience where you can review your photos and relive the magic of visiting the underwater world. This experience can count towards your PADI Scuba Diver or PADI Open Water Diver Certification at a later date, ask our staff for more details.

We are a PADI Dive Centre, our staff are fully qualified and Insured to teach Recreational Scuba Diving. We have an instructor and divemasters to guide you on the dive. You will need to sign a liability release, understanding and assumption of risk, medical declaration and a safe diving practice form to participate. Spectators are permitted but won't see a great deal except bubbles!!
