The perfect idea for your next team building event! Your group will 'sizzle', bond & laugh as they 'cook-up' their own restaurant. We'll create a unique event to suit your objectives! Perfect for all ages, genders & management levels (even clients). There'll be plenty of music, cooking & fun.
This particular costing is for the rental of a venue in either North Sydney, Manly or Gladesville - Sydney. If your group is more than 50, or you''re at a conference venue, the price will change. For smaller size groups,we have locations in Surry Hills, Waterloo (funky Dank St), Balmoral or Gladesville.

As most events are a surprise, all you need is a smile & an appetite. We ensure everyone quickly feels comfortable - even those who insist they can't boil an egg! Instead of competing against each other, everyone works toward the same goal (a magnificent feast), creating a warm & fun atmosphere.
The ''SURPRISE'' Start - Join us for a breakfast, lunch or dinner. For most teams it's a surprise to discover they're about to create their own restaurant! So we give everyone a drink and canapes, then we'll explain how the cook-up will progress. Following a few quick safety issues, we'll deliver the analogies between your work environment and a restaurant kitchen, then liven up the event with some music.
THE BIG "COOK-UP" - The group will be placed in teams of around 10 people. Each team enjoys the benefit of their own experienced chef/cook who'll encourage them to get involved in preparing dishes to create a magnificent buffet. You'll learn how to chop, fry, sizzle, flambee, bbq and bake.
BRING ON THE WAIT STAFF! - Having finished as the chefs, you'll now become the wait staff as you create an “Italian Long Lunch” style table setting. One and all become involved in putting out tea lights, intricate napkin folding, adding flowers...whatever they choose from their surroundings.
THE BIG REWARD...NOW YOU''RE THE CUSTOMERS! - Now you can relax, sit, eat and enjoy the magnificent feast you've created together. You'll be amazed and rewarded with your delicious banquet.
YOUR GLAM MENU - The food is delicious and could include Flambeed Greek Prawns with Feta & Ouzo, Mediterranean Lamb or Moroccan Chicken Tagine. Or try the Wicked Chocolate Brownies with Kahluah Mascarpone! Or maybe Corn & Jalapeno Muffins with Honeyed Butter for a brunch!
We can include additional vegetarian dishes, and meals for special dietary requirements, with advance notice. The menu is mostly Mediterranean / Latino....very glam and very delicious!
This price is based on 50 people but contact us if you have a groups of 10-300 as we can go anywhere or find a venue to suit.
More than a cooking class, classes are tailored to the event to introduce your objectives ''subtly'' using positive wording such as support & respect, plus the similarities between your work & a restaurant - timing, satisfied customers etc. The emphasis is on relaxed fun and ''bonding''. We have our own Public Liability insurance so we can work in any venue - even at your conference hotel. |
