Our friendly crew will take you to Agincourt Reef, a magnificent ribbon reef where you can experience first hand the magic that is the Great Barrier Reef.
You can choose to dive, snorkel, or stay dry and explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a semi-sub, just one metre underwater. Watch the fish feeding from our unique underwater viewing platform and underwater observatory, or fly in a helicopter over the reef.
Whichever way you choose, you'll bring home a lifetime of memories from this living natural wonder.
Your Outer Barrier Reef Experience - at a glance
9.30 am
Complimentary morning tea/coffee on boarding. For your safety, hot drinks are not served once the vessel is underway. Passengers are required to be onboard the vessel 15 minutes before departure.
10.00 am
Depart Marina Mirage for the Outer Barrier Reef. A Marine Biologist presentation is shown on the vessel monitors 30 minutes after departure. A snorkelling demonstration follows the Marine Biologist presentation.
11.30 am
Arrive Outer Barrier Reef- reef activities commence:
Enjoy swimming and snorkelling from submerged platforms.
Underwater observatory open for coral and fish viewing.
Semi-subs depart every fifteen minutes from the rear of the platform.
Pre-booked guided snorkelling tours, certified and introductory diving and helicopter scenic flights
Fish feeding conducted at the snorkelling platform at advertised times.
12 noon
Lunch [included in the fare] is served. Enjoy a hot and cold tropical buffet, containing fresh prawns, pastas, meats, salads and fruit. There are full bar facilities available where you can purchase drinks.
1.30 pm
Lunch finishes. Time for more activity or just relax and take in the view!!
3.00 pm
Depart Agincourt Reef for Port Douglas. Reef video viewing on board.
4.30 pm
Arrival at Marina Mirage, Port Douglas.

Conditions
Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from diving. For advice contact us. Minimum age for diving is 12 years. We recommend a wait of 12 hours but preferably 24 hours, if doing multiple dives, before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater. Snorkelling can be a strenuous activity. Please use caution and inform our crew of any medical conditions.
On very rare occasions, services can be subject to the effect of weather or unforeseen circumstances. Should a cruise not operate for any reason passengers will be offered an alternative day or a refund authorised. |
