Tiger Moth 30 Minute Scenic

Fly back to the 1940s in a vintage open cockpit bi-plane. Let the wind blow through your hair as you sit back, relax and enjoy the flight. This will be a nostalgic return to an era of romance and excitement, where you'll even get to wear the leather flying helmet and goggles!

This activity takes place at Camden Airport - at Hangar 53. Approx 60-90 mins from Sydney CBD - NSW (depending on the traffic)

Allow approximately 1 hour for the full experience, which includes 15 minutes preparation time, 30 minutes flight time and then 10-15 minutes at the end of flight for photos etc.

You will be one-on-one with your pilot.

There is a minimum age of 15 years and a maximum weight 115 kg. It's fine to bring a camera, but please have a strap to attach it to your wrist. We ask customers to sign a flight form that gives us their name, address and phone number. Each passenger is fully insured for the duration of the flight. Wear comfortable casual clothing e.g. jeans, t-shirt and maybe a jumper for summer and a jacket for winter. Footwear - sneakers or very similar are ideal. No high heels or thongs. Clear, calm conditions are needed. We cancel in strong wind and adverse conditions. If in doubt please ring before leaving home. If cancelled we will re-schedule to a time to suit the customer. Minimum of 24 hours is required to reschedule, otherwise a 25% cancellation fee may be charged.

Upon arrival at the hangar, you will meet your pilot and ground staff for the day and be shown around the aircraft (with plenty of time for photos) where safety aspects will be explained. Then you will be helped to strap yourself into your seat, and when all is ready and the propeller has been swung to start the engine, you will be up and away on your flight. You have communication with your pilot for the duration of the flight and he will make the journey as enjoyable as possible for you pointing out areas of interest as you sit back and watch the world fly past. On return to the Hangar you will be assisted from the aircraft by the ground crew and there will be an opportunity for some further photos.
