Tropic Highlights Tour departs Cairns and you will be visiting Cairns Wildlife Dome, Royal Flying Doctors, Flecker Botanical Gardens, Outback Opal Mine and Palm Cove Beach. Location: Cairns, Queensland.

Tour departs Cairns at 10.30am and returns 6.30pm.

This is a small group experience with experienced Driver/Guide.

Participants of all ages may travel. People with disabilites should advise reservations.

Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Tours do not run Sundays, public holidays and Christmas Day.

Discover Cairns' highlights in small, personalised groups, first stopping at the Cairns Wildlife Dome. This wildlife exhibit is enclosed by a 20 metre high glass dome in the heart of Cairns. Get up close to free roaming animals and birds and meet Goliath the crocodile in an unique glass underwater viewing tank. Tour the Royal Flying Doctors Visitors Centre and enjoy a delicious afternoon tea in trendy Edge Hill. Take a guided walk through Flecker Botanical Gardens seeing beautiful flora before you travel north of Cairns stopping along the way at Cairns' best scenic lookouts whilst our guides point out interesting animals and plants. Tour the Outback Opal Mine before finishing the tour with a sunset stroll on idyllic Palm Cove Beach Jetty.
