Our tour departs at 4pm and returns approximately at 10.30pm.

It is advisable to pack for a cold night as the temperature drops during the evening. Dont forget your camera!

Late afternoon and evening is a special time in the Victorian high country. The forest and mountains are touched with a magical golden light, the bush animals come out to feed. Enjoy a full barbeque dinner with dessert, complimentary wine or beer or BYO other drinks. We depart Mansfield Visitors centre or surrounds at 4pm, travelling along the Mt Buller Rd, turning off at Mirimbah. Follow the Stirling Rd past Telephone Box Junction onto the Circuit Rd calling into Razorback Hut. Then we travel onto Craigs Hut where we take some time out to enjoy the spectacular profile of Mount Cobbler (1628m). We then cross over to the summit of Mt Stilirng (1747m) where we settle down to a scrumptious BBQ in time to view the sunset over Mt Buller. Our return journey takes us down through snow gums, their white trunks highlighted by the sidelights of the Oka (a truly unique sight, especially if there is mist). We rejoin circuit Rd at Howqua Gap and continue on to Mansfield arriving at the visitors centre at approximately 10pm.
