V8 Super Challenge - Vic

If your dream is to experience how a purpose built V8 race car handles - then this is for you! Drive one of our V8 Race Cars for 2 x ten minute sessions, then to top off the day your instructor shows you how it is really done for two hot laps of the circuit.

The activity takes place at Calder Park Raceway on the national circuit.

Half an hour is allowed for you to sign in and change into your race suit priorto the briefing. We suggest you allow approximately 4 hours at the track. The briefing and observation laps take approximately 40 minutes then it's out onto the track.

You will be in a group of approximately 30 for the initial briefing and with 3 - 4 others during the observation laps. Your actual driving sessions are one on one with your instructor as are the two hot laps at the end.

We need to know your height and clothes size. As long as you do not require a driving suit larger than a 3XL there are no problems with height and weights.

On arrival at the main entrance of Calder Park Raceway you will be directed to our sign-in point. After you have signed an indemnity form on arrival, you can then change into the race suit given to you for the duration of the course. The briefing takes place in the Canteen. You then go with your instructor for observations laps of the track to reinforce the instruction given to you. You drive the race car for 2 x 10 minute sessions, you do all the driving, but, there is an instructor with you at all times. On completion of your driving sessions, your instructor swaps seats with you, and shows you the way it is really done. You have a photograph taken which is attached to a certificate and signed by drivers on the day. You receive a cap. The package includes lunch for yourself and one friend, and your friend also enjoys a spectator ride around the circuit with one of our race drivers in one of our road sedans. Allow approximately 4 hours at the track. Additional friends and family are allowed to come along and join in the fun - get everyone involved! Hamburger/sausage sizzle is $5.00 per person and if they wish they can also purchase a spectator ride to have a look first hand at the race track. The price of this is $5.00 per person (in a road sedan not a race car). DVD's are available on the day the price is $125.00. These are professionally edited and mailed directly to you approximately 3 weeks later.
