Starts Friday evening and ends late Sunday afternoon.

Minimum of 6 people, Maximum of 12.

All top quality gear, accommodation and most meals are provided.

A fantastic weekend covering the very basics of learning to surf. Our 5 lesson course is covered offering an insane amount of water time. Not only will you be instructed in surf technique for the very basics, but surf safety education is our passion. We want you to understand how beach and surf conditions work so you can learn how to keep safe in the ocean. You will be at the stage after the camp where you will feel confident to either purchase or hire boards in the future. We sell boards also, ensuring you purchase the right board for you. These camps are non-stop action. So start some push-ups! Top quality equipment is provided, including Rip Curl wetsuits, rash shirts and board shorts. All gear is of the highest quality. Our company has been established since 1992, which means you are in safe hands with instructors who know the local beaches well. East Coast Surf School was the first professionally operated surf school to establish in the Coffs harbour and in the Bay 14 years ago, and is know for its caring, professional staff who get fantastic results! You will be up and riding in no time at all! You will safe and well cared for. You''ll be joining the World Championship Tour in no time! We take a over 80 digital photos of all the great moments, including everyone carving down the wave. It''s worth it just for the photo! Byron and Coffs are stunning places. We eat out in great cafes and on the beach, and cook up a great Aussie style BBQ. Coffs Harbour and Byron Bay experience lovely summers and mild winters. The water rarely drops below 18°C/60°F in Winter. Warmer than most northern Hemisphere summers! We often surf with dolphins and between June and August, the Whales swim by. Our National Parks and Solitary Marine Park offer beautiful sights and great walks, fishing, diving and boating. A great place to visit.
