Experience the thrill of whitewater rafting on one of Australia's most exciting rivers. Coming straight
from the Snowy Mountains you will raft 16 km of exhilarating rapids through the famous "Murray
Gates" gorge.

As a guide you will spend approximately 5 hours on the river.
Group sizes vary from 8 - 50 participants. There will be between 4 - 7 participants in each raft.
Minimum age 16 years old.
Participants must be over 14 years of age and minimum weight of 45 kilograms.
If you suffer from severe muscular, chest, heart or bronchial disorders, severe asthma or have high blood pressure or are pregnant you are advised to consult your doctor prior to booking on a trip.
A huge day of fun and excitement on the Murray River, you'll raft 16km of exhilarating rapids, grade 3-4. The journey takes you along a stretch known as The Murray Gates Gorge where you encounter rapids such as "The Wall", "Guides Mistake", "Sharks Tooth", and "Himalayan Wrap". You'll feast on a hearty lunch by the river, then continue rafting many more enjoyable rapids to Little Bunroy where a bus awaits with your dry clothes and afternoon snacks.

Jindabyne: Front of National Park Visitor Information Centre. 8.30 am.
Thredbo: Front of Visitor Information Centre. 9.00 am
Khancoban: Front of Khancoban General Store 9.00 am.
This popular trip runs most weekends from September - December each year. Can be run midweek for groups of 8 or more.
We supply wetsuits, spray jackets and fleece tops in cooler conditions.
You need to bring swimmers, shoes to wear in rafts, towel, plastic bag for wet gear and change of clothes. |
