Our tours are unique because, not only do we take you to the places you have heard about, such as Cradle Mountain and Wineglass Bay, we take you to remote, lesser known areas. Try a bit of fishing along the way, you may even catch your dinner!

Our tours are designed for fit and active people, and include lots of bushwalks/hiking. Please bring warm and waterproof clothing (suitable for bush walking), sturdy walking shoes, swimming gear, sunscreen and a hat, water bottle, a warm sleeping bag. Children must be at least 12 and accompanied by an adult.

This 9 day active, camping tour lets you fully explore Tasmania and departs from Launceston. Itinerary for departure from Launceston: Day 1: Mole Creek Caves, Cradle Mountain (hiking/bushwalk), remote bushcamp. Day 2: Bushwalk/hike in The Tarkine (Australia's largest temperate rainforest), remote West Coast of Tasmania, bushcamp beside the Southern Ocean. Day 3: Bushwalk/hike at Montezuma Falls, Strahan, bushcamp at Ocean Beach. Day 4: Bushwalk/hike at Lake St Clair, camp at remote Highland Lake. Day 5: Various bushwalks in Mt Field National Park, The Styx Valley, arrive in Hobart (hostel accommodation included). Day 6: Free day to explore Hobart (hostel accommodation included). Day 7: Bushwalk/hike to Cape Raoul, remote area bushcamp. Day 8: Bushwalk in Freycinet National Park (Wineglass Bay), bushcamp in rainforest. Day 9: Bay of Fires, bushwalk/hike through The Blue Tier rainforest - return to Launceston. We provide most meals. Breakfast consists of cereals, fruit, toast and tea/coffee. Lunches vary from sandwiches to BBQs. Evening meals are prepared in camp ovens or on a barbeque (gas stoves are used in unfavourable weather). Vegetarian meals can easily be prepared on request. You will be amazed at the meals that can be prepared on an open campfire...a roast dinner or fresh damper bread! Experience Tasmanian gourmet foods such as local cheeses and fine wines. Fresh fruit and vegetables are available every day.
